The Field Company No.8 Cast Iron Deep Skillet is a deeper skillet for frying, braising, and one-pan meals. It keeps the open cooking surface of a classic skillet with taller sidewalls, the shape people used to call a chicken fryer. The cooking surface is machined smooth and comes pre-seasoned, and there are no synthetic nonstick coatings—just iron and oil. Family-owned Field Company makes lighter cast iron for everyday home cooking. Field Company says it is "Made in the USA."
