ESEE Gibson Axe
The Gibson Axe is a small, compact axe designed by bushcraft instructor James Gibson to fit easily in a backpack. It is meant to handle most camp chores and also work as a carving axe. The Viking bearded head allows close-up work, and the finger grooves, textured Micarta scales, and swelled end give a secure grip when chopping. It is 10.5 inches long, weighs 20.5 ounces, has a 1095 high carbon steel frame, and comes with a leather sheath. ESEE describes it as "The made in the U.S.A. Gibson Axe."
